Tonight saw the departure of resident bad boy Joe Bugner from the jungle. In a two way contest which saw Joe go head to head with hottie Stuart Manning, the two were sent to jail as part of a bush tucker trial that would see the loser leave the jungle. Joe was never really in the game from once the claxon started.
Stuart on the other hand was in a complete panic as he battled his way through the underground tunnels before emerging after the task and ringing the bell sounding his victory and ensuring he was going back to camp.
Until this show started, I’d never heard of Stuart Manning. Thought he was a nice lad up until last night when I just saw a game plan of pure cunning and sneaky scheming unwind. He knows that the slightest hint of a jungle romance between himself and Sabrina would entice viewers to keep them both in their. I think that Sabrina does perhaps like Stuart and he knows this and is using this to his advantage.
Last night he quizzed her on how many kids she would like, and it happened to be exactly the same number he wanted. And there were many similar incidences tonight. I just don’t like him any more. He’s totally playing on the whole Sabrina thing and it smacks of slyness. Just watch him. He’s completely playing up to the cameras with his sweetness and light attitude. He can’t win!!!
Also tonight in the jungle, George Hamilton confided in his on-screen jungle ‘wife’ Kim, that he intended to leave the show tonight because he wasn’t doing anything other than keep morale up. He’s right in one sense. The majority of the bush tucker trials that were voted on, he was excluded from on medical grounds! Why was he brought in to the jungle in the first place??! I’m enjoying him all the same though.
Jimmy White is starting to come out of his shell a little bit and I’d swear he’s lost weight! I’m considering booking me a ticket to the jungle in time for Christmas!
Gino is still my camp favourite. Although, speaking of camp… Justin serenaded Gino this evening and even gave him a kiss!!
There’ll be no eviction from the jungle tomorrow night so unless George decides to leave of his own accord, which I hope he doesn’t, we’ll just have to hold out til Tuesday to see what surprise the show has in store for us.
There were 5 going into tonight’s show and now only 4 remain. Ironically, it was the one who sang ‘I’m Still Standing’ that fell from his perch tonight. Yes, that’s right, Lloyd Daniels, the Welsh wonder, sang his last song on X Factor tonight. Lloyd has been plagued with constant criticism from some of the judges for the last number of weeks but whilst he may not have been everyone’s idea of a popstar, he could hold a tune.
Tonight, the judges decision wasn’t final as the decision rested solely with the public. Poor Olly was left wondering again as he was the last singer to be saved for next weeks show. I’m still holding out for Olly to win. All four remaining singers have great voices and all offer something different by way of style and substance. I think Danyl will manage to have a career even if he doesn’t win. I’m not sure that Stacy could be a true ambassador for the show, or if she could handle a superstar lifestyle. I think Joe has an amazing voice but I don’t think he’s a popstar.
Every week we’re treated to a musical feast from guests and tonight was no exception with top notch performances from Alicia Keys and Rihanna (although I thought Rihanna was off key a lot of the time!!) Next week we’ll bear witness to Lady GaGa and Janet Jackson.
So there you have it, the line up for next week’s semi final is Olly Murs, Stacy Solomon, Danyl Johnson and Joe McElderry. Good luck one and all
Right… Llloyd sang I’m Still Standing. He looked like he was hating every minute of it. Maybe it was because he’s afraid of heights and part of his routine saw him being lifted aloft by two of the backing dancers. For me it was an uncomfortable performance with an ok vocal.
Next up was Danyl who sang Your Song in the same way that Ewan McGregor sang it in Moulin Rouge. I LOVE the way that Ewan McGregor sang that song. Simon Cowell must think that no one has seen that movie because he had the cheek to say that Danyl had put his own stamp on the song. Have none of the other judges seen Moulin Rouge?? Shame on them. They lose serious kudos for not spotting that one…
Then Olly came out and gave the performance of the night – Saturday Night’s Alright (for Fighting). Wow!!! I loved it!!!
Joe sang Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word. Am I the only one who thought it was only ok? The judges love him. I think he’s going to win. I don’t want him to win. But I think the judges do. Simon may not be his mentor but he’d do anything for Cheryl.
Last up was Stacy singing Something About The Way You Look Tonight. Wasn’t the most easily recognisable song at the start. She sang it sensationally but I’m nervous for her. Not sure she’ll get the votes. I cannot believe that Simon had the cheek to say that Stacy didn’t have the voice to carry off a big number like Leona or Alexandra. Hands down, Stacy is a better singer than Alexandra.
My favourite performances tonight were Olly and Stacy doing their Elton numbers.
Tune in tomorrow night to see who goes through to next weeks semi final…
So its Take That for the first half of the show… So far Danyl has sung Relight my fire; Lloyd has sung A Million Love Songs; Olly sang Love Aint here Anymore; Joe sang Could it be Magic and finally Stacy sang Rule the World. So were they any good???
Well it was an up tempo number for Danyl, not something we’re used to seeing from him. I didn’t particularly like it but hey, what do I know?? I think this guy has serious talent but didn’t rate his cover this evening.
Lloyd has a really strange kind of voice… reminds me of Akon for some reason! Thought he was pretty ok. I’m not a big fan of his but do think he could be a little popstar.
Then came Olly… Loved it!! Great to see him singing and not just performing. He has such a great voice.
Young Joe was next up. Great performance but while he’s got a fantastic voice, I don’t think he’s got the X Factor. I totally agree with Louis – he’s more West End star than pop star.
The Take That half of the show finished with Stacy. Very tough song for her and the judges thought she was great. I thought her voice was over shadowed by the backing track but I just love her and her totally honest naivety.
Next half of show is Elton John. I’m expecting some pretty camp covers. Let’s hope the finalists don’t disappoint!
He may be breaking hearts throughout the UK each Saturday night but a study conducted by Foster’s has revealed that Lloyd Daniels is officially the most worried contestant in the X Factor- and with good reason!.
An analysis of over one thousand quotes from the X Factor finalists, judges and fans show the Welsh teen heartthrob is the most likely to face the axe this week. Rival Joe McElderry is revealed to be the most No Worries contestant on the show.
The leading Australian beer brand used the Foster’s Ozometer to analyse quotes from the finalists and their judges, as well as both official and fan Twitter feeds for each contestant. . The technology uses algorithms to analyse language and determine how worried or carefree a person is. More than a thousand different tweets and fan site quotes were assessed enabling Foster’s to reveal which star should be worried about leaving X Factor this weekend.
With Jedward gone, Lloyd’s fears that he is now the weakest act in the competition are clearly getting to him – and his fans – as he clocks up a miserly No Worries score of just 10%. Bookies have named him favourite for the chop next Sunday, and having already appeared in the bottom two twice, the strain is beginning to show.
Geordie Joe McElderry, who has taken the competition in his stride from day one, continues to be the most relaxed contestant on the show with a No Worries score of 80%. Cheryl’s 18 year old protégée is riding high in the lead up to the final and is also tipped for the top, with bookies predicting he will go on to win.
Dance teacher Danyl Johnson follows close behind Lloyd Daniels with the Ozometer revealing he is just 25% No Worries. With harsh criticism from Cheryl Cole in particular, and reports of conflict over song choices, Danyl has had the most difficult time in the spotlight to date. Danyl’s official Twitter page reflects the nerves of the star who may also be feeling the pressure ahead of his big dance debut this weekend.
After his shock placement in the bottom two, Olly Murs’ No Worries score has plummeted to an anxious 30% The swivel hipped Essex lad had previously had a score of 48% but last week’s close shave has visibly knocked the confidence of Olly and his fans.
Es-sex symbol Stacey Soloman is close behind with a No Worries score of 74%. Having only had minor criticism from the judges, her fans have very little to worry about, with the young mum smiling through the comments each week. All of this is reflected in her official Twitter page and that of her fans, pushing her up the No Worries X Factor scoreboard.
Foster’s brand manager Natalie Clearie said: “It’s incredible that Joe McElderry manages to maintain such a No Worries attitude despite the pressure he is under – we wonder if he has some Australian in him? His fellow finalists could learn a lot from his laid back, Aussie attitude, and who knows, it might even win them some more votes this weekend.”
Foster’s will be keeping X Factor fans entertained with Ozometer scores, No Worries news and views, and its pick of the best of the web, via its Twitter feed. To join and have your say, please follow them at twitter.com/FostersUK

Bookies Paddy Power are betting 8/1 that the Slim Shady star will become a new addition to Cowell’s X Factor panel and it’s down under diva Dannii Minogue that could receive her marching orders to make way for the hip hop artist.
Dannii Minogue is the 4/6 favourite to quit or be axed from the X Factor panel, followed by Irish music mogul Louis Walsh at 7/4 and Mr Nasty himself Simon Cowell at 6/1. Golden girl Cheryl Cole looks a safe bet at 10/1 to stay on as mentor for some time to come.
Another name in the running to join Cowell and co on the X Factor panel is superstar Robbie Williams at 10/1 while it’s 12/1 Sharon Osbourne makes a welcome return.
Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power said: “X Factor is already well received globally after producing top talent like Leona Lewis but with world class rapper Eminem on the panel, the show could reach a whole new level.”

Jordan has once again landed herself in hot water by staying in Australia despite claiming that missing her children was the reason for her to walk out of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Paddy Power are convinced that she’ll stay in Australia at least until December 7th making it 1/5 favourite ahead of a pre December 7th return at 3/1, while many may just be tempted by the 100/1 she stays in Australia forever – surely just wishful thinking!
Gino Decampo remains Paddy Power’s 6/4 favourite to emerge the winner of the reality show following a dramatic first half in the jungle.
With Jungle couple Colin and Justin separated, all eyes are on the budding romance between Sabrina and Stuart. Paddy Power offer odds of 11/10 that the couple snog in the jungle and 20/1 they follow in Jordan & Peter’s footsteps by marrying by 2011.
Joe Bugner is 6/4 favourite to be next eliminated just ahead of Justin Ryan at 10/3 and Sabrina Washington at 7/2.
Paddy Power said, “it’s been a whirlwind first half in the jungle this year and it’s certainly nowhere near over yet with a nice couple of subplots emerging. The public have already shown Jordan their sadistic streak, I wonder will they keep voting to leave lonely Justin miserably alone in the jungle?”
Outright Winner 6/4 Gino Dacampo 5/2 George Hamilton 5/1 Kim Woodburn 6/1 Sam Fox 8/1 Jimmy White 20/1 Sabrina Washington 20/1 Stuart Manning 33/1 Justin Ryan 50/1 Joe Bugner
Next Elimination 6/4 Joe Bugner 10/3 Justin Ryan 7/2 Sabrina Washington 5/1 Stuart Manning 6/1 Jimmy White 20/1 Sam Fox 25/1 Kim Woodburn 40/1 George Hamilton 80/1 Gino Dacampo
Katie Home Return 3/1 Before December 7th 1/5 December 7th or later 100/1 Stay in Australia forever!
Love In The Jungle 11/10 Stuart & Sabrina to snog in the jungle 6/4 Stuart & Sabrina to date when they leave the jungle 4/1 Stuart & Sabrina to get engaged by 2011 8/1 Stuart & Sabrina to have a baby by 2011 12/1 Stuart & Sabrina to have sex in the jungle 20/1 Stuart & Sabrina to Marry by 2011
So lovebirds Justin and Colin have been separated after Colin was the second to be voted off I’m a Celebrity. He was up against Joe Bugner, the giant who is starting to soften…
How will Justin cope without his other half? Tears and hugs so far..
Colin’s departure was the fourth from the jungle – Camilla walked (and then Joe entered), Katie walked after being voted for a whopping 7th Bush Tucker Trial in a row, Lucy Benjamin was the first voted off and tonight Colin was voted off. So who’s going to be next??
Will there be love between Sabrina and Stuart? Will legendary ladies man George Hamilton score? Or will Jimmy pot one?!
Tune in tomorrow night again to find out!
They might have got the boot from this year’s X Factor but we’ve not seen the last of terrible twosome John and Edward. The Irish twins are hotly tipped to replace Katie Price on this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity and bookies Paddy Power have already chalked them up at 8/1 to be crowned Kings of the jungle.
Ever since Jordan left the jungle, show producers have apparently been under massive pressure to replace her with a suitable celebrity to help liven up the show and keep viewing figures at a premium. The lads have allegedly received an offer of £100,000 to appear on the hit reality show and it’s thought they have until 5.30pm today to make a decision.
Rumours circulating the internet are suggesting the deal is close to completion and has sent punters into a betting frenzy. Only yesterday Paddy Power had been offering generous odds of 50/1 on Jedward entering the jungle!
Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power, said: “Jedward weren’t even on our radar to enter the jungle as we were convinced Simon Cowell would have the lads under a strict contract but as the saying goes there’s usually no smoke without fire – landing Jedward would be a massive coup for the popular show and viewing figures would surely go through the roof!”
Other names being bandied about to replace glamour model Katie include her ex-husband Peter Andre at 3/1, Kerry Katona at 6/1 and tattooed glamour model Jodie Marsh at 8/1.
