Tonight saw tv interior designer and camper extraordinaire, Justin Ryan, reunited with his tv and life partner Colin McAllister, after he received the least public votes and left the jungle. He had been up against Jimmy White who has made it through to the final along with Gino D’Acampo and Kim Woodburn.

Last night saw Justin overcome his fear of bugs when he spent the night in a cage.  While his camp mates dined on a feast of emu, prepared by Gino, Justin ate something tasteless but full of texture (his words, not mine!).  Later, while his camp mates slept, he fought off an invasion of cockroaches and an abundance of various other creepy crawlies.  Justin had agreed to the secret trial in order to secure the works for a full Irish (or a full English as the case may be).  The task was secret in the sense that the campmates were unaware of Justin’s reasons for going to the cage. He was unable to tell them why and what was at stake because if he did, he would have forfeited the feast!

Having survived the night relatively unscathed, the food was provided and served as a farewell breakfast for fellow campmate Stuart Manning who was voted off, losing to Jimmy White.

I think this years jungle buddies have been a really close knit group of celebs.  I’ve really enjoyed watching them – sad to say!! There’s been a real camraderie in the camp.  Wonder who’ll be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle??? My money’s still on Gino but they’re all winners

Poor old Olly Murs. His twin brother is getting hitched this w/e and X Factor bosses aren’t allowing him to attend the wedding!! Olly was due to be best man and is said to be “gutted” at not being allowed time off from the show to attend.  Bosses have said that the distance between the studios and the wedding venue mean that Olly wouldn’t be able to travel between the two in time for the show on Saturday evening.

The wedding has obviously been planned for months in advance and no one could have predicted that this would happen.  It’s just sheer bad luck. I’m sure some people would say that his brother’s wedding is more important than competing on the show.  Imagine having to tell your twin that you wouldn’t be going to their wedding because you had a prior engagement?!?! Not an easy call to make… Hope it doesn’t upset his performance on Saturday night.

This week the remaining 4 contestants are rumoured to be performing Michael Jackson songs along with a song of their own personal choice. Michael’s sister Janet is performing at the results show on Sunday night and will also critique the semi finalists on their performance.  Also performing on the night is the quirky Lady GaGa.

Should be a night to remember!

I’m a Celebrity’s Gino D’Acampo has punters hot under the collar with his cooking skills, sexy accent and easy going manner according to bookies Paddy Power who have made him their red-hot favourite at 1/5 to be crowned this year’s King of the jungle.

The dishy Italian is the now the clear front-runner by a country mile to win this year’s series on Friday night. Snooker ace Jimmy White is the 6/1 second favourite to win followed by bossy scrubber Kim Woodburn at 7/1. Hollyoaks hottie Stuart Manning and interior designer Justin Ryan are jungle outsiders at 22/1 and 28/1.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power, said: “We’ve seen some real personalities enter the jungle this year but with Hollywood legend George Hamilton out of the running Gino now looks a certainty to win. He’s impressed all the ladies with his cooking skills, not to mention his Italian stallion looks and it looks like nobody can catch him!”
