I haven’t enjoyed Friday night tv for such a long time. What did we do to deserve such a fantastic line up on not one but TWO chat shows tonight??!
Late Late Show – fantastic line up. Should we expect the licence fee to rise dramatically any time soon? Russell Brand, Gordon Ramsey, Eddie Hobbs, Des Bishop, Dara O’Brien, Michael Palin and Katherine Jenkins… Fantastic viewing! Thought GR was a bit of a pretentious knob, but suppose that’s what we’ve come to expect of him. Des Bishop – comedic genius and he didn’t even have to try!
Just gets a bit annoying that they’re all on to plug something. Why can’t guests just come on for a chat and not have to utter the line ‘well in my book…’
LLS has come on leaps and bounds since Tubs took over. Even with tonight’s line up, the show would have been a disaster with Mr K trying to handle Des Bishop AND Gordon Ramsey both talking about their ball bags (albeit not at the same time!). And we saw PK’s utter discomfort the last time Russell Brand appeared. On a more pressing note, does anyone know why don’t they ring the competition winner live on air anymore?? Such an anti climax – no excitable winners any more. They winners just sound like ungrateful gits. Bring back the old format – PLEASE. Any maybe start by calling me :-) Cheers :-)

And so from the LLS show over to Jonathan Ross – recorded compliments of the NTL DVR box :-) And what a line up here too!! I’m not usually a fan of Jimmy Carr but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed him tonight. And Robbie – what a little sweetie, all loved up. But someone should have told him that his socks and shoes were awful. Serena Williams was a surprise, good craic and game for a laugh.

Time for the cot now.
