Being the stalwart that it is, Home & Away are going to tackle the issue of diabetes in up and coming episodes. Poor old Ruby starts to feel tired all the time and is eventually diagnosed with diabetes. As if she hasn’t got enough on her plate what with her biological father after being found murdered in the Bay, her mother being prime suspect no. 1, dumping her on/off boyf who then gets a bang on the head and forgets that she’s dumped him, all the while pining for your friend and developing strong feelings for him… Oh poor Ruby indeed.
But if you think she has it bad, poor Martha is in for another bout of seriously bad luck…
Her beau is only gone and forgotten to tell her that he’s married… Ooops! Easy thing to forget.
Not only that but there’s a huge people smuggling ring that sadly results in the deaths of a lot of people. And Hugo is somehow involved in the smuggling. It’s all part of the cliffhanger mystery that’s building slowly but surely…
And it also involves Lou Di Bono’s murder. That case is reopened again in the coming weeks. Can’t wait!
On the bright side, Hugo’s mum moves to the Bay more permanently – as Principal of Summer Bay High. And she also catches the eye of Mr Mean, John Palmer.
