Ireland’s Apprentice star Breffny Morgan has landed a new job with top bookmaker Paddy Power just days after leaving the popular TV3 show.
Ireland’s biggest bookie was first to offer the Cork man a job as a body double after realising he bore a more than passing resemblance to himself.
With a recent move down under and partnership with the French PMU Paddy is finding it increasingly difficult to divide his time from one place to the next. Breffny’s role will include appearing at top race meetings and sporting events and standing in as Paddy Power when the boss man is away.
Paddy Power said, “I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw Breffny on the telly – it was the perfect solution. One of the biggest problems with my job is trying to be everywhere at once. With Breffny on board I can now be two places at once and spend a bit more time with Mrs Power!”
Camilla Dallerup’s decision to leave the jungle has had zero impact on the bookies betting.
The professional dancer had been a 33/1 outsider with Paddy Power to win I’m A Celebrity.
Her departure however will come as great news to a handful of punters who took the 7/2 on offer with Paddy Power that she’d be the first contestant to leave of her own accord.
Italian stallion Gino remains the 3/1 favourite to be King of the jungle while songstress Sabrina Washington is the 2/1 favourite to be eliminated by the public first.

X Factor hopefuls John and Edward Grimes are gaining momentum in their quest to win this year’s X Factor. Not only have the twins got the backing of superstar Robbie Williams but top bookie Paddy Power have also powered in behind them.
The generous bookie was at the Spa Hotel in Lucan today to present John and Edwards father, John Senior, with a €1,000 bet at odds of 50/1 on his sons winning this year’s contest.
All winnings from the bet will be donated to the Grimes family’s chosen charities of choice, The Marie Keating Foundation and the ISPCA.
At 50/1 the twins are outsiders in the betting to win this year’s X Factor but if they do go the distance, they’ll net a whopping €50,000 for charity. Even if the brothers fail to win Paddy Power will donate the stake money to their two favoured causes.
Paddy Power said: “We think the lads are great fun and we jumped at the opportunity to get behind them. Hopefully Robbie William’s support will give them the X Factor they need to go on and win!”
